I feel like a 12-year old...

...though I see now I really shouldn't.

After playing Age of Conan for a few weeks, I thought I should read some of Robert E Howard's Conan stories. (For those who don't know, REH created Conan.) I'd never read any Howard, so only had the sterotypical images of blood and mostly-naked women that you see in comics or movies. Also, I knew Howard published the stories in Weird Tales, a pulp magazine. (H.P. Lovecraft published his stories in the same magazine.)

To my surprise, the stories are not juvinile. Yes, there is the blood and mostly-naked women, but its done tastefully.

Howard made quite the universe. I was pretty surprised at the breadth of the Conan work, too. You seem like you might get a kick out of John Seavy's blog post about the storytelling engine of the Conan stories.

Also, what does the text say on your default icon? "Please share Firefox" - after that it's a smudge to me.
