Why is it Called "Tourist Season"...

...if I can't shoot them? OK, that was harsh. Sadly, it is also true.

I work across the street from a major tourist trap/food court (Old Post Office, for those familiar with DC). I hold off going for lunch until 1 or 1:30 to avoid the lunch rush. The past few weeks, though, school groups are going through there until 2 or later. So I spend my lunch avoiding 13-year olds and trying to block out the noise.

Things should calm down some once the school year ends. Of course, that means I'll start seeing family-tourists. Thankfully, they usually eat before 1...

LOL! Yes, I would say you have it worse than me. At least I only have to deal with them for about an hour a day. You have my sympathies! :)
